Dreams and reality
Ispiration
Images of film stars and delightful hints of Russian Baroque. An attempt to combine restraint and luxury, simplicity and complexity, dreams and reality. A game in which a dress unexpectedly becomes the epitome of luxury and, an opulent evening gown, the naïve whim of a fairytale princess.
Silhouette
A classical girl-flower silhouette: a narrow waist, a voluptuous low-cut neckline and a balloon skirt. An oval which hides the real woman, leaving room only for image. Yulia Yanina’s cuts are true works of art. The designer has created elegant coat-dresses, as classical and sophisticated as her evening gowns.
Materials
A fusion of natural silks, velvets, lace and fur inserts. A fascinating play of contrasts even in the chromatic nuances of the fabrics. Shiny, opaque and transparent with dense, full-bodied volumes that give the appearance of being weightless.
Decor
Sumptuous embroidery and sequined edges, always in contrast with quilted silk, fur trimmings and lace inserts.
Colours
Noir et blanc, shades ranging from chocolate to beige, from cream to pure white. Basic colours alongside a play of chromatic nuances. Reflections of taffetas, of black velvet on a shiny background and luminescent sequins.
