The Collection, which has its origin from the consolidated experience of the National Academy of Tailors, selects very precious materials and underlines the classic elegance, with its perfect lines, always contemporary, that only the skilful tailor is able to create.
For Spring-Summer tropical weight, mohair and kid mohair, raw silk, hemp and linen were the preferred materials, while for Autumn-Winter the selection was among soft flannel, fine pure wool and valuable materials like vicuña and cashmere .
A series of pieces of clothing for every season will be seen on the catwalk. For free time the Academy suggests separates matched with soft trousers of warm winter tones, followed by different kind of refined pinstriped material, wrap-around overcoats and suits for a formal elegance, such as tuxedos, morning coats and tailcoats. The lines are classic and symmetrical, in perfect balance with the human body, producing soft jackets and natural shoulders. An ounce of inventiveness characterized the evening suits of the elegant man.
The classic woman’s elegance is made precious with the use of modern details, adding a touch of great refinement to the tailoring austerity; bright and vivid colours were matched to the classic white and black fabric. Impalpable wrap-around cloth, sometimes precious like lace, brocade, taffeta and silk, underlines the silhouette with extreme femininity.
The splendid embroideries, executed with great accuracy, originate exclusive article of clothing, a very work art destined to last for years.
Subtle clues which catch the most significant motifs of the precious Art of the Master Tailors, proposing them again, in a new tailoring glamorous style.
