BIANCA GERVASIO

Bianca Gervasio was born in Molfetta in 1979, after having obtained her diploma in Fashion and Apparel and Fashion Technician, she graduated in Fashion Design at the Marangoni Institute in 2002. In 2003 she won two Scholarships at IED Milan one for a course in “Collection Structures” and one for the Master in “Technical and Sports Clothing« again at IED in 2005. Since 2003 he has been working as a consultant at the Design & Licenses Office of Mila Schön with the task of developing projects for Mila Schön Japan. For Mila Schön Italia she designs women’s shoes, the children’s line and ceremony one. Winner of castings and contests for emerging designers with personal collections under the Bianca Gervasio brand, she exhibited in different editions in the official ALTAROMA calendars from July 2003 to July 2008 and NUDE in Milan on February 2006 during the MFW. At the end of 2007 she debuted on the catwalks of Milano Moda Donna as Creative Director of the Mila Schön Couture and Prèt à porter line. There are various collaborations as a stylist with a wedding dress atelier and Couture ceremony: Milan, Rome and Puglia. She collaborated as a costume designer for short and feature films, plays and theatrical events. The Mila Schön experience ends in December 2012. From October 2013 to February 2016 Bianca is Creative Director for the brand: FRAGIACOMO 1956 accessories, footwear, bags and small leather goods for men, women. Today Bianca is a senior designer consultant for fashion companies that produces Bianca Gervasio branded clothes and accessories, specifically hair clips and tailored suits for private customers and shops, because she strongly believes in the return of tailoring and craftsmanship.

The Bianca Gervasio Couture line hair clips comes from the idea of creating real jewels for the head. They are creations made entirely by hand piece by piece by a talented Milanese craftsman, thus maintaining and supporting the concept of design, style and craftsmanship Made in Italy. The clips are designed by the designer Bianca Gervasio and composed with taste. The inspiration for the first collections start from a vaguely Liberty image, ultra decorative and the subjects that populate the hair decorations are mainly dragonflies, butterflies, flowers, feathers and fruits, with sinuous and stylized lines. The clips are embellished with pearls or Swarovski crystals in various colors. The pieces are all in brass-based metal then galvanized and gold in light gold or nickel free for silver, completely hypoallergenic. The clips are: combs, hairpins, clips with clips and circles.
